Jake David

Jake David began with a simple belief: the spaces we live in shape the lives we live. Founded by siblings in Austin, Texas, the company has grown beyond traditional home staging into a creative home brand encompassing design, building, and storytelling. At its heart is the idea that a beautiful home should do more than impress. It should invite people in, encourage them to stay, and create a genuine sense of belonging. The visual identity was developed around this philosophy, balancing nostalgia, warmth, and timeless craftsmanship with a playful, contemporary sensibility. A signature-style wordmark brings a personal, human quality to the brand, complemented by structured monospaced typography that introduces clarity and restraint. The palette pairs rich oxblood red with muted blue slate, sage, walnut, and warm neutrals, creating an atmosphere that feels collected rather than overly curated. Inspired by heirloom stamps and traditional maker's marks, a collection of illustrated emblems, monograms, and supporting graphics extends the identity across print, packaging, merchandise, and digital applications. A recurring rabbit character adds an unexpected layer of personality, appearing throughout the brand as a playful hidden signature. Subtle pinstripes and repeating patterns introduce texture and structure without competing with the identity's more expressive elements. The result is a flexible visual system that reflects Jake David's approach to home: thoughtful, welcoming, full of character, and never too precious. An identity designed to feel as personal and inviting as the spaces the company creates.
